American Association for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) Region 2
Formerly AAMR, the AAIDD was established in 1876, making it the oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization of professionals and citizens concerned about intellectual and developmental disabilities. Membership is divided by Region, and California/Nevada is Region 2.
Talk about Curing Autism- TACA
TACA provides information, resources and support to families affected by autism.
Anova is a non-profit K-12 school and treatment center specializing in children and teens with autism and related social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Anova’s three ACE schools are located in Santa Rosa, San Rafael, and Concord, CA. They also provide behavior analysis, speech and language, social cognition, occupational therapy, sensory integration, early intervention, paraprofessional support in public schools, and in-home services within 15 counties across California.
The Help Group
The Help Group is the largest and most comprehensive nonprofit of its kind serving children with autism and other special needs. Its six specialized day schools educate more than 1,300 students on a daily basis and its wide range of programs include after-school enrichment classes, social skills groups, summer day camps, post high school transition programs, and therapeutic boarding school options. Any Baby Can
Any Baby Can is a non-profit agency that provides support services to families of children facing a chronic illness, developmental disability or health risk. All services are provided free of charge, regardless of income. Any Baby Can’s Autism Services Program provides parent training, education and counseling to families raising a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
WASHINGTON
